The QL202B Development Kit

The QL202B Development Kit takes the customer to the next level of using the evaluation board, firmware and related design files to quickly and fully integrate the QL202B into their design, whether it will be a separate add-in card to their system, or a completely integrated design into their product. The superior support provided by the Qpixel technical team ensures that the customer product will be brought to market quickly and efficiently.

The Development Kit includes all the Evaluation Kit components:

• The QL202B-EVK board
• Power adapter, A/V cables, Ethernet cable, RS-232 cable
• Comprehensive SW & FW
• Documentation, including schematics, BOMs, board design & layout information

In addition, The QL202B Development Kit also contains the Software Development Kit (SDK-202B) including:

• Driver and application source code for Windows and Linux
• Software architecture and host control interface guides

The QL202B Development Kit therefore includes the full EVK-202B Evaluation Kit plus the SDK-202B Software Development Kit.

• uClinux kernel provides a robust, open-source, compact OS
• A/V encode/decode firmware
• Device drivers such as Ethernet, MTD (Memory Technology Device), I2C, GPIO, IDE/CF with file system, etc.
• APIs allow ease of supporting features such as dual codec H.264 & JPEG with simultaneous encoding, full screen OSD in the video input or output, and motion detection with different sensitivity settings
• Common network stacks provided include ICMP, TCP/IP, UDP, Telnet, HTTP, NTP, FTP, SMTP, DDNS, DHCP
• Convenient user applications such as A/V streaming server with QoS, web server to allow users to specify desired system, audio and video parameters, configure network service settings and quickly upgrade binaries as needed as well as client PC software such as ActiveX plug-in and a streaming decoder.
