EVK-201B Evaluation and Development Kit

The QL201B Evaluation and Development Kits allow prospective Qpixel customers to quickly and easily connect, configure, and control the QL201B device to best determine the Qpixel configuration that meets their video needs. Customers can quickly evaluate, and develop their design and rapidly roll their final portable consumer product or digital home appliance into mass production. Qpixel also offers a superior technical support group with a proven track record of being successful in bringing customers quickly to production.

The QL201B Evaluation Kit

The Evaluation Kit includes a circuit board and detailed information for customers to properly evaluate the Qpixel products in order to assess the numerous features and advantages of the QL201B in their intended applications. The customer will be able to quickly and easily plug in their board through a WindowsXP-based PC system, run the supplied application software, and quickly be able to capture/record and playback their video, or configure the settings to the parameters they need.

The evaluation kit consists of the following:

• Windows XP/ Linux device drivers and firmware
• “QPVCR” DirectShow GUI application

  • QPVCR LCD Display showing video signal detection, recording/playback state, duration of the current recording session, record stream type, currently achieved average bit rate, video frame rate
  • QPVCR Controls including Record, Record Option, Pause, Stop, Play, Playback Option, Configuration & Diagnostics
  • Recording preview window allows you to preview in real time while encoding a stream
  • Video and audio properties options selection
